Let the journey begin!

So today is the day, I will make my way to the US! Its already 4 years ago since I made a similar trip to thru hike the Pacific Crest Trail. This time I will try my best to thru hike the Continental Divide Trail. How do I feel? Well a little nervous of course but also super excited. Will I make it? Will I suffer a lot from pain? Can I enjoy it as much as I could do on the PCT? How is the trail like? Will I find new hike friends to hike with? Well we will see!

Everything is packed (I hope!) and I am on my way to the airport. Everything goes smoothly till London, where my next plane has a delay of m ore than 3 hrs. And of course I miss my connecting flight to Tuscon! But luckily Phoenix isn't that far away so I call an Uber and within 2 hrs I made it finally to Tuscon after travelling for more than 24hrs! Bedtime! Tomorrow I gotta take the Bus to Lord burg New Mexico, where I will be staying the next couple of days, sorting my stuff which I ordered straight to the hotel and getting prepared for the start of the thru hike on April 25th!
