Double Zero in Grand Lake

Camping at: Shadowcliff Mountain Lodge, Grand Lake

I have decided to take another zero here in Grand Lake. Firstly, I really do enjoy this town. Secondly, yesterday has been such a struggle with getting the bounce boxes organized and trying to figure out my phone plan issues. I couldn't upload any blodgs, or just relax a little. Thirdly, my food is still in pain (and will most likely be so tomorrow too), but another day of rest will for sure not hurt. And fourthly, the girls (Ducky, Vista and Bex), will also only hike out tomorrow.

I sleep in, go for breakfast in town with Vista and get an ice cream milk share thereafter 😁, and spend the afternoon in my room, trying to rest my food and upload Blogs. In the evening Vista, Bex and I went to an asian restaurant, which was very yummy and a nice variety of what we normally get (burgers!). The sunset tonight is absolutely stunning. Then we changed the restaurant, where we pump into Ducky and an old school friend of hers. Bex and I ordered a massive brownie with vanilla ice cream, topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce, as a side a glass of sav (sauvignion blanc). It was very yummy too, but I feel totally pregnant, and will only be able to sleep on my side tonight🤣 it was a very nice evening, but tomorrow the serious trail life will start again. An outlook is, that it less than 150 miles to the Wyoming boarder! Let's get there soon!
