Day 77: 11th 0 Day in Yosemite Valley

Date: 23.06.2018 Miles hiked today: 0 miles Total Mileage: Mile 942.5 Even though yesterday was a long day I'm up at 8 am. I want and need a shower urgently and washing my clothes too. Another campground offers both to hikers. I'm ready and leave camp. Joanne, Giggles and Peter shall be ready in a couple of minutes too. I wash my clothes and shower but no sign yet of my group. Where are they? As phone service does not work well in the valley I can't reach them. It's already 1.5 hours since I left. Just when I start to put my clothes into the tumbler for drying they show up. They got some trail magic and got lost about 3 times on their way here. They still must be drunk to be able to get lost 3 times here, it's not that big! :) I'm ready for food. While Joanne and Giggles wash their clothes, Peter and I go for pizza. Mmmhh yummie! Peter is leaving us here, he finished his section hike and returns back home. I'm sad about him leaving, he was a great company. And going home sounds so sweet right now. I'm really, really tired and all I wish is a bed and a room where I can close a door behind me for peace and quite. But that's not possible here. After resuppling for the next approximately 5 days from Tuolomy Meadows to Kennedy Meadows North I just lie in the gras below some trees and nap. That's how tired I am! I actually wanted to try and get a hitch to the glacier view point but I can't move anywhere. It's to much work! Joanne and Giggles are really slow today and they take ages to get things sorted. Peter's bus leaves at 4:15pm and Joanne misses him to say goodbye. We are getting ready for a hitch to Tuolomne Meadows too and while waiting for the bus we bump into other hikers. There is a bus at 5pm to Tuolomne Meadows they inform us. That sounds perfect as it seems very hard to get a hitch back with a car. We just make it in time. The bus is full with hikers and takes nearly 2 hours to Tuolomne Meadows! I'm exhausted and hungry. The general store offers some microwaceable food, sounds good to me. I don't wanna cook anymore tonight. Wheezer is here too and is missing her hiking group which was supposed to come back to Tuolomne Meadows after hiking Half Dome today. But they don't turn up. Joanne missed to pick up her parcel from the post office the other day so she has to wait till 9am tomorrow morning when they open. I don't really wanna wait that long, also because I picked up my parcels already. So Wheezer and I agree to hike out tomorrow morning together and Joanne and Giggles shall catch up in the evening. I'm ready for bed so I pitch my tent and hope for some good, deep sleep! See ya tomorrow!
