Day 33: Hiker Heaven - ⛺ @ mile 465

Day: 10.05.2018 Miles hiked today: 11.5 miles Total Mileage: Mile 466

We will be leaving Hiker Heaven this afternoon. I am really sad to do so, but new hikers shall get some room to enjoy this absolutely amazing place too! Also fran, john and Philly arrived today. It was really nice seeing them! And of course we also have to keep moving on. However, we will only leave the late afternoon and hope to hike till about 8 or 9pm. It is a hot day today again and we want to avoid the brutal heat of the day. We would like to hike 11.5 miles so tomorrow morning before lunch time we can arrive at another very cool place - Casa de Luna. It is a pity both these amazing places are so close next to each other, only about 25 miles away.

We took the offered lift back to town center, fully backed with other hikers! So we left Agua Dulce at 4 pm. The weather changed a little. It was not as hot anymore, a little cloudy with a cool breeze. Perfect! The scenery also changed from brown dirt, dry and hot to green and a much better temperature. The sun set was amazing. We hiked the 11.5 miles and pitched our tents at 8:20pm.
