Here we come!

Finally, finally the day has arrived where i will see the southern Terminus Monument live! After some troubles getting there, Joanne and I booked an uber. The drive took a little longer than an hour from San Diego. To calm our nerves we took some Vodka and cranberry juce, which we all killed while driving there :) In good spirits and relaxed we arrived there about 4:30 pm. The Monument was all ours. No other hikers were around (guess it was a little late already) and we used this chance to make some Pictures. Only the boarder patrol curved around. For some pictures (which are not shown in this blog! 😂) we had to watch the boarder patrol carefully and catch the moments in between!

After Hiking to the first camp spot (only few miles) we pitched our tents. The first Dinner under the Sky went down well with a bottle of wine we brought along (note: we didnt think about carrying the Glass bottle for a couple of days!). We had a good night sleep that night!
