Bye bye lovely San Diego

Finally the day has arrived ! Today we will set our first steps on the PCT. We decided to start easy in the Afternoon to have enough time to enjoy the southern Terminus. We only hike 4-5 miles before setting up camp with a bottle or two of wine, the first night will be a pleasure :)

The days in San Diego rushed by. They were filled with getting last minute equipment at the famous REI, shopping for food at Walmart,  posting boxes ahead, planning, eating mecixan tacos,  visiting Friends and relatives, relaxing in the evenings & enjoying San Diego etc. 

Even though the last couple of days were filled with planning our hike we are both  ner

vous. It feels so unreal. Why again do we want to do this???
